SWAN SONGS BOTTLE CLUB

The rumors are true — this brewery will soon cease to exist! As of April 2023, we are no longer producing new wort for fermentation. Instead, we are slowly releasing beers that are already in progress — beers that take time to mature. These beers are Atwood Farm Brewery’s “swan songs.” While most of these beers will likely be released to the general public, joining the Swan Songs Bottle Club will guarantee your access to each release and also save you money compared to purchasing from a retailer. Once these beers are sold out, the brewery will fade fully, completely, into the abyss.

Things of note:

• It’s Happening: We began releasing beers to our club members in July of 2023, but it’s not too late to sign up and catch up on the initial releases! We still have inventory of the initial releases for now and can accommodate additional members.

• The Beers: Most, if not all, of our Swan Songs beers will be barrel-aged and bottle conditioned. Beer style may include:

  • sour ales;

  • fruited farmhouse ales;

  • funky wild ales;

  • spontaneous beers;

  • and even some imperial stout!

• Mass Quantities: You will receive at least twelve (12) 500ml bottles, and as many as fifteen (15). Your bottles will be comprised of at least ten (10), and as many as fifteen (15), different beers (we don’t know the exact number because barrel-aged beer can be unpredictable — some barrels may not work out, some barrels may be blended together, etc).

• Timing Is Everything: It may take up to two years for you to receive all of the Swan Songs beers (again, barrel-aged beer can be unpredictable and takes time to mature).

• Releases: We don’t know when exactly each beer will be released, but once a new Swan Songs beer is ready to release, you will be notified directly and before the public. The first releases were ready in July 2023. Others continue to fall like dominoes after that.

• Fulfillment: You may choose to collect each beer as it is released, or let us cellar the beer until you are ready to collect multiple, or all, of your bottles.

• Pickup: All Swan Songs beers are for “pickup mostly.” Proxies allowed with prior notice. We definitely will not ship them. We will, however, consider local delivery, and maybe even Seattle area delivery in some instances. Reach out to beer@atwoodales.com to discuss.

• Last Call: Upon release of the final Swan Songs beer, all bottle club members will have sixty (60) days to collect all of their bottles from the brewery, or forfeit them.

• Dollar Bills: Club Members are guaranteed to pay less than their friends who purchase these bottles later at full retail price (expected retail $15-18 per bottle; you will save 30-50% off retail prices). Club Members who sign up before June 1st December 1st will receive a further discounted price.

• Additional Discounts: Bottle Club members receive 20% off all beer and merchandise purchases through our web store and in person (while supplies last, of course; excludes additional membership purchases).

• More, More, More: If one bottle of each beer isn’t enough, just purchase more memberships (two memberships for minimum two bottles of each beer, three for three, etc).
