What is hip? Haze? Hops? If that stuff is too mainstream, then maybe a beer brewed with weird local ingredients is more your speed. Rose hips are the small, red fruits produced by our native wild rose plants. The addition of rose hips to this dry, red-hued, farmhouse saison adds mild tartness, herbal, citrus and tea-like notes, and a predilection for irony to the beer. Brewed with oats, barley and Skagit Valley wheat malt; hopped with estate-grown Nugget and Cascade hops in the kettle and dry-hopped with Jarrylo hops from Puterbaugh Farms.
